Re: IE 7 dies after June Auto Updates
Thanks for the reply. I was able to boot in Safe Mode with networking. I
use Kaspersky anti-virus and I had uninstalled that . I had Norton in the
past and had to use their removal tool in order to install Kaspersky.

Anyway, I found another post that came in after mine about uninstalling
updates (thank you Michel Merlin)and realized I had not uninstalled the IE
Update (969897) when I took out the others that came in the June update but
then did find it in a different place in the Add/Remove program. Took that
out as well as 961501 which had reinstalled itself in the interim. IE worked
on reboot!!!

Now I am not sure what to do about updates. I think I will avoid them until
I hear MS has figured out why this update is casuing problems for some users.
