OK,
I installed Office 2007 Outlook, ran WM and try to import the old Outlook
directory but still no joy. Do you have an instruction sheet?

Windows Mail can import from an Outlook PST file only if Outlook
is installed. WM needs the Outlook machinery to interpret the PST
file. You can do a temporary install of the free trial version of Office
2007.
