Its clear to me that that is what I did. You cannot generalize the issue
based upon your experience alone and draw unwarranted conclusions. It is
unclear that the problem has to do with TIF corruption, which is why I'm
trying to get users to try moving the TIF and see if the IE8 problems go
away. So far, no one else has claimed they did. So conclusions can only be
drawn after time to see what fixes the issue.
