Re: Windows Update fails to install updates
Thanks for these suggestions - unfortunately they don't work. The first
suggestion deletes the log of files downloaded so I lose the records. Even
before that, at no time did the log show which updates had failed, only the
last successful one. If I check for updates now, the system shows I have
updates ready to install but when I hit the install button, Vista asks for
permission to continue and then I get the error message "Some updates were
not installed.... as above. Thanks again - any more suggestions welcome.
