Re: fixed unable to delete email problem, now I have new problem
Gary - Thx, good idea, pls check back if you learn anything - I use AVG on my
XP backup computers. I just spent an hour regenerating the Local Folders
because I couldn't remember it exactly from a week ago. It does not work if
you just delete Local Folders; you have to go up a level to delete the whole
'Windows Mail' folder just as the Tech. wrote.
WinMail is now back & unstuck for a few days maybe, I'll probably get real
good at regenerating - the root cause fix looks a long way off unless you
find no problem in your experiment. If you find no further issues, I'll
uninstall McAfee and go back to CA's anti-virus/anti-pest that worked well on
XP when it was my main desktop.
I'm also going to poke around on McAfee site to see if anything turns up.
