I installed Vista on a 500 Gb hard drive with one partition. After the
install I used disk manger to resize the partition so I could use the
space left to create another partition.

The smallest partition I could resize to was 300 Gb. Disk Manager said
it needed the space for system files. I only have about 27 Gb in use
on the hard drive.

This seems like a bug to me. Can any one shed some light on this?
