Greetings.
I find that downloading a .swf or .mp3 file extension type from a website
does not automatically play in IE anymore.
I don't have a .wmv or .wma file readily available to download, but I can
put one up on my site and find out if that works. It's should be something
simple as nothing major has change on my system that I can recall in the
last year. May be a service, or add-on, or something blocking it. Used to
be URL ie
http://xxxx.mp3 would open QuickTime within the browser and
http://xxxx.wmv would open WMP with option to show within or external of IE.
IE will play Quick Time or .swf within the browser if opening the file
manually on the local machine.
What am I overlooking?
Thank you so kindly,
Kevin
