In your OS IE6sp1 can be uninstalled but you may have to uninstall
some OS service packs if they were installed later to make it show
up in the Add/Remove Programs list.

Your OS also provides IE's Repair tool.
E.g. either via Add/Remove Programs or via Run...

rundll32.exe setupwbv.dll,IE6Maintenance
