No, I periodically do a manual update.
I like to know when things are being installed in case there is a problem.
And this is the first problem I've had related to updates.

A few months.

No tool bars.

IE Watch add on was installed. Also, I have the latest version of that add
on.
I don't recall any other add ons. I also don't see any way to get a list of
installed addons.
