The graphical interface for defrag was removed because it wasn't deemed
necessary. I don't think many people are willing to spend hours in front of
the screen watching little boxes being shuffled around the screen as they
get put into a contigious order.
If you want to see what goes on with defragmentation then you need to buy a
third party defragmentation application. For preference I would recommed
PerfectDisk (see the following link on my website for a review of
PerfectDisk)
