My son was using my computer while drinking a soda. It ends up he stole
some soda in the keyboard and cleaned up without telling me. So the soda
dried overnight and got rather sticky. When I depressed NumLock for some
obscure reason the next day it stuck in the down position. Experiments in
Notepad proved the case. Sure it is embarrassing!
